Elementor is required to display a menu using the Restaurant Menu (JelloPoint) widget. You manage the menu content in the JelloPoint area of WordPress.
If the widget is missing, check that both Elementor and JelloPoint are active, then reload the Elementor editor.
A menu is the complete collection, such as Lunch or Dinner. A section groups entries within that menu, such as Starters or Desserts. A menu item is a dish or drink with its own description, pricing and optional badges.
Create the menu under JelloPoint → Menus, organise its sections in Menu Builder, and edit individual dishes under Menu Items.
Yes. The item editor’s Menu assignments panel lets you choose one section for each menu. Select Not assigned for a menu where the item should not appear.
It remains the same item, so changes to its title, description or pricing can affect every menu using it. Keep that in mind when editing a shared dish.
In Menu Builder, choose the destination menu, then use Choose Existing Section → Add Existing Section. Save the arrangement with Save Structure.
Reuse means you are working with an existing section. Review every affected menu when changing shared content.
Open the dish under JelloPoint → Menu Items. Change its Description or Pricing, then save the item.
Use Elementor for presentation settings such as currency display, price-label layout, columns, spacing and typography. Use Menu Builder for the arrangement of sections and items.
Yes. In the item editor, find Visibility and turn off Show this item on the site, then update the item. Turn it back on and update again when the item should return.
This is an item-level setting. To remove the item from just one menu, change that menu’s entry in Menu assignments to Not assigned.
The Fallback to all items when no Menu/Section setting can show items when neither a menu nor a section is selected. For a specific restaurant menu, choose it explicitly under Data Source → Menu.
Use the Sections filter only when you intentionally want to show part of that menu.
Price labels describe a price or serving, such as Glass, Bottle or Per person. Dietary badges describe an item, such as Vegetarian or Spicy.
Assign them in their respective panels in the item editor. Adjust their display separately under Prices and Labels and Badges in the Elementor widget.
No. Website placements are configured under Website Info Blocks in the Elementor widget. The Pro Print/PDF Info Blocks panel in Menu Builder configures the printed menu placements separately.
If a block appears in one output but not the other, check the placement settings for that output.
Deactivating JelloPoint does not remove its restaurant data. Deleting the plugin also retains data by default.
There is an explicit Data removal setting under JelloPoint → Settings. If Delete all JelloPoint Restaurant Menu data when uninstalling the plugin is enabled, deleting the plugin permanently removes menus, sections, items, Info Blocks, settings and related plugin data. Check that setting and keep a backup before uninstalling.
Open JelloPoint → Settings and use the Default badges and price labels action. It adds missing bundled defaults without replacing your existing badges or price labels.
This restores the bundled defaults; it is not a backup or recovery tool for deleted custom menu content.
